Our first priority at CMHA has always been the health and well-being of our participants, public, and staff members.
Public health officials continue to advise that social distancing is the most effective strategy to prevent the spread of COVID-19; therefore, CMHA Central Alberta will be closed to the public due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) until further notice.
We ARE still taking calls during our regular business hours for our Systems Navigator at 403-506-9955 who is trying to help people navigate the government announcements for support as best they can and our Crisis Counselor at 403-304-7662 – as long as they remain healthy! You can also still call our main office line at 403-342-2266 and we will check messages as often as possible. Our Crisis Counselor and Systems Navigator will be available by phone. These numbers are available on our main line (403)342-2266. We recognize that the closure may create challenges for ourselves and our community, but we also recognize our responsibility to address this public health concern. If you are in crisis, please contact the Distress Line at 403-266-4357. If you or someone else is at immediate risk of harm, please call 911.
We look forward to continuing to be pro-active and information will be shared as soon as we can. Our Facebook page will be serving the community through positive messaging and we will send out correspondence as things move along.
