The Family Enrichment Program at Catholic Social Services and CMHA is offering a series of free mini-educational workshops during the month of October. The workshops focus on family mental health and wellness and are open to all parents or caregivers with children ages 3 to 17. The topics will be announced shortly, but are expected to include Peer Support and Self-Care, Talking to Children About Mental Illness, and other topics of particular interest to families with mental health concerns.
This series is open to adults. You will need to pre-register for each of the individual topics or for the whole series so that we have enough handouts and refreshments available.
The workshops take place at the CMHA Learning Annex, in downtown Red Deer on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Please arrive a few minutes early as the doors to the building close at 6 PM. If you arrive a few minutes late, a smiling CMHA volunteer will let you in.
