Many of our programs have limits on attendance and develop waiting lists, so it is very important that you let us know if your plans have changed. If we do not have enough people registered, we occasionally have to cancel or postpone a course or program.
People enrolled in programs with tuition (for example, ASIST and Facilitator Training) are eligible for a full refund of 100% of their tuition if they contact Canadian Mental Health Association at least one week prior to the workshop start date.If participants cancel less than one week prior to the workshop start date, they may transfer their tuition to a future course or workshop, but they must submit this request in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Participants that do not contact CMHA and do not show up to their workshop will not receive a refund or a transfer of tuition to another workshop.
We routinely contact people who have registered for courses or multi-session workshops.
CMHA courses and education programs take place at our Learning Annex unless specified as happening elsewhere. The address is 4911 51 Street, Suite 404.
For evening and weekend courses and programs, please be aware that the building is locked on weekends and at 6 PM on week days. Please try to arrive on time. On weekends, staff will be in the lobby and will unlock the doors for you beginning one half hour before the class begins. Free parking is available after 5 and on weekends at the two hour meters in front of the building.
During weekday business hours, the parking attached to the building is available, but expensive if you are staying for more than 2 hours. It is monitored throughout the day. There is City public parking at the corner of 51 Street and Gaetz Avenue. Metered parking is also available in front of the building. It has a two hour limit.
