WRAP™ is an eight week course that helps people incorporate wellness tools and strategies into their lives. Thousands of people, world-wide, have successfully used what they learned during a WRAP course to live happier and more satisfying lives while improving connections to their families, their friends, and their community.
Initially designed for people with mental health concerns who frequently moved from wellness to increased levels of ill-health, including crisis, WRAP now has been shown to be effective for people with chronic illnesses like diabetes and fibromylagia. WRAP has also been judged effective for people who struggle with the day-to-day management of their lives at work, at school, or at home.
February 26 – April 23, 2018
9:30 AM – noon
For more information, see WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Planning).
Course attendance is limited to 8 to 12 participants. Please call CMHA at 403-342-2266 to discuss the course and help determine if it is right for you.
The fee for WRAP is $50, which covers only our materials for the course. The full cost of the program is much more. If you are in a position to be able to pay more than the materials fee, it would help us provide services to other people who are not as fortunate. CMHA Red Deer donations and other funding sources make it possible to offset some of the costs of educational programming for people with limited incomes. We never refuse enrollment to people based on an ability to pay for the course and we will work with you to make the course affordable.
